Indian Overseas Bank's (IOB) PR Workshop launched by M. Narendra Chairman

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is now celebrating the Platinum Jubilee Year and they have coined the slogan ''Touching Hearts - Spreading Smiles''. In the platinum jubilee year IOB is planning to 'reach the unreached' and develop an effective relationship with all the customers. As part of their strategy IOB has organised a three-day workshop at their staff training college Chennai from 7th to 9th March 2011. K. Srinivasan, Prime Point Foundation is the workshop leader. 
Mr. M. Narendra, Chairman and  Managing Director of the Bank  inaugurated the workshop. He said the bank would cross Rs. 5 lacs crores business in next three years and their staff members were being prepared and motivated to achieve this milestone. In order to reach the committed goal the bank will aggressively use PR strategies. Mr. Chandrasekharan and Ms. Geetha Shetti, General Managers were also present.

Twenty eight senior officials drawn from various regional offices across the nation are participating in this workshop. Experts from media, Television, PR agencies are sharing the views in the workshop.  Some of the experts like Mr Irfan Khan, Mr T N Ashok, Mr S Narendra will be sharing their views through tele-conference from the classroom.
